AFAZ Kencana Sport 115 officially launched in Malaysia – RM5,799

Malaysia now has another new motorcycle brand, AFAZ which is a collaboration between AFY Mobility Industries and Suzuki.

The first model launched for this year is the AFAZ Kencana Sport 115 priced at RM5,799.

It features a single-cylinder SOHC engine that meets Euro 4 standards, capable of generating power up to 9.1 hp at 7,500 rpm and torque of 9.0 Nm at 6,500 rpm, paired with a four-speed gearbox.

The engine is also equipped with Suzuki’s Oil Cooling System (SOCS).

The suspension consists of a front telescopic fork followed by KYB twin shock absorbers at the rear.

The brakes feature a single 220 mm rotor at the front, complemented by drum brakes at the back.

Notable features include front and rear LED lights, an easily readable analog meter display, a 4.2-liter fuel tank, and a seat height of 760 mm.

Two attractive color options are available: Delima Red and Laguna Blue.

2025 Indian Motorcycle Scout officially launched in Malaysia – 5 variants, prices starting from RM103,900

Spirit Lake Motor Sdn Bhd, as the exclusive distributor of Indian Motorcycle in Malaysia, has launched the 2025 Scout model lineup for the local market.

There are five main variants offered as follows:

1. Scout 101

  • Sunset Red Metallic Limited+Tech: RM139,600
  • Ghost White Metallic Limited+Tech: RM139,600

2. Super Scout

  • Black Smoke Limited+Tech: RM134,500

3. Scout Classic

  • Sunset Red Metallic Limited+Tech: RM128,800

4. Scout Bobber

  • Black Metallic Standard: RM103,900
  • Sunset Red Smoke Limited+Tech: RM121,100
  • Spirit Blue Metallic Limited+Tech: RM124,300

5. Sport Scout

  • Black Metallic Standard: RM106,800

  • Nara Bronze Metallic Limited+Tech: RM117,300

All variants are powered by a 1,250cc liquid-cooled V-Twin Speedplus engine capable of generating a maximum power of 105 hp and 108 Nm (111 hp/111 Nm for the 101 Scout variant).

Power is transmitted to the wheels through a six-speed transmission.

The Standard trim comes equipped with features such as an ABS braking system, LED lighting, and an analog meter gauge.

Meanwhile, the Limited trim offers features such as cruise control, traction control, three driving modes, and a USB charging port.

The Limited+Tech trim adds extra features like keyless ignition, a four-inch digital display, and Ride Command+ for access to important information and motorcycle location tracking.

Indian Motorcycle brand in Malaysia now operated by Spirit Lake Motor Sdn Bhd

The first motorcycle brand from the United States, Indian Motorcycle, is making its return to the Malaysian market.

It is now managed by the new management of Spirit Lake Motor Sdn Bhd, a company under the AFY Mobility Industries (AMI) group.

The name Spirit Lake Motor references the Indian Motorcycle factory located in Spirit Lake, Iowa, United States.

This name also serves as a tribute to the heritage and commitment of the brand towards quality craftsmanship and the legendary art of motorcycle manufacturing.

As the exclusive dealer, Spirit Lake Motor not only offers a range of premium products but also provides comprehensive ownership benefits including after-sales service, spare parts, technical support, warranties, and licensing for official accessory merchandise.

All of these efforts aim to ensure a smooth and seamless ownership experience for all Indian Motorcycle owners in Malaysia.

Also showcased are the full lineup of iconic models, which includes:

For the time being, Indian Motorcycle Malaysia officially operates out of the AMI Showroom in PJ222, Petaling Jaya.

Spirit Lake Motor also plans to open a brand new 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts) center by the end of this year.

AMI now the official distributor of Indian Motorcycle brand in Malaysia

AFY Mobility Industries (AMI) has announced the relaunch of the premium motorcycle brand Indian Motorcycle for the local market.

The distribution of Indian Motorcycle models will be managed by AMI’s subsidiary, Spirit Lake Sdn Bhd.

In conjunction with this, AMI has also announced the opening of a showroom located on Jalan PJ222 in Petaling Jaya.

The Indian Motorcycle brand will also make its appearance at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, which will be held at MAEPS, Serdang, from May 9 to 15.
