MRT3 Circle Line approved by the Minister of Transport

Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) has announced that the Final Rail Scheme for the MRT3 Circular Line has been approved and signed by the Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke Siew Fook.

In a Facebook post, MRT Corp revealed that over 45,000 feedback responses have been received, with 93.3 percent supporting the project.

The 51.6 km MRT3 Circular Line will be fully integrated into the existing Klang Valley Integrated Transit Network.

A total of 32 stations will be built, featuring 10 interchange stations and strategic connections to 12 rail lines, including LRT, MRT, KL Monorail, and KTM.

MRT Corp also announced improvements, which include the placement of stations and viaducts along the route, as well as reducing land acquisition from 1,012 lots to 690 lots.

“With today’s approval, the land acquisition process can now commence and is targeted for completion by the end of 2026.

“MRT Corp will be reaching out to the affected communities and updating them on the improvements made in their respective areas.”
